Projects
My first foray into true multi-player games adds an anti-social twist to classic arcade bowling. Before each frame choose cards that can help or hurt players and select a victim. Boons and banes are inspired by Chuck Jones gags -- oil slick on the lane, pea-sized balls, rubber bumper lanes, etc.
Born from a Simpsons' joke I could never get out of my head, this is the arcade for the movie "Speed" that was somehow never made. Navigate LA freeways keeping the bus at or above 50 mph while dodging traffic and unload all of your passengers before it's too late.
An Oregon Trail–inspired browser game about driving from the SF Bay Area to Burning Man. Apple II phosphor aesthetic, 12 character archetypes, real geography, fun-as-scarcity resources.
Classic Boggle meets Rubik's Cube meets real physics. Slide letters, rotate, the cube, find words. Daily puzzle with leaderboard.
An interactive sound art installation. Eight pieces of fruit, wired to a Makey Makey, translate touch into escalating human pleasure vocalizations. Each piece of fruit has a persona and a set of "sexual" preferences.
A curated selection of radio stations from around the world that focus on handpicked music from real human DJs. With this human-centric alternative to Spotify's algorithm, you cant play just anything you want, but you can discover and bookmark what you didn't know you loved. Visualizers throw back to the days when we used to stare at Winamp while playing whatever mislabeled music we had waited to download.
